Windsong Farm Heidrun, also known as Heidi, is the youngest member of our herd. Her sire is Bulletcreek Benchmark, who is an AI son of the buck Six M Galaxy Milo. Milo was the sire of one of the most influential bucks of the Six M Galaxy herd, Six M Galaxy Poseys BF Nova, the sire of several top ten does.. He also sired Six M Galaxy Tina's Milani, whose progeny Six M Galaxy Milani's Pistachio, Six M Galaxy Milani's Oreo, and Six M Galaxy Milani's Mizar,  all have sired many high-producing and Top Ten does. We are closely linebreeding the genetics surrounding our favorite doe, Six M Galaxy Nova's Sonia Noel, who was a five-time Top Ten Doe and passed these genetics onto her offspring, as several of her progeny are elite sires, with high milk PTAs, or top ten does. Six M Galaxy Milo was Noel's paternal grandsire. Benchmark's dam, Six M Galaxy Truly Zemira, is a daughter of Sonia Noel. Heidi's dam, Bella, also has a star studded pedigree. Two notable top ten does in her pedigree, are Six M Galaxy Semillion, and Six M Galaxy Galina Darlene, both top ten does. She is also linebred on Six M Galaxy Poseys BF Nova. Bella is also a half sister to one of the top sires for milk production PTA, Six M Galaxy Solomon, who is the sire of the infamous Pennyroyal Frida, a top ten doe. As you can see, Heidi has an excellent pedigree that is destined to milk well. Our plans for breeding her are in the works, but undoubtedly will be exciting. We do know that we will be using our AI herd sires on her in the future, likely linebreeding her further with Sonia Noel Sons, Six M Galaxy Noel's Comet in particular.
