Chianti is the daughter of our doe, Lakeshore DP Raven Syrah and Goddard Farm Land of Oz. These animals can be found in our reference tab. Raven did very well on her DHIA test this time here at our farm, and will earn her milk star with this lactation. She has steadily milked between 9 and 10 lbs this lactation, and peaked closer to 12 lbs. This combination of genetics gives us a high-milking show style goat (Raven), blended with the high milk genetics of the Goddard Farm Herd. We have high hopes for Chianti in 2017, and look forward to seeing how she milks in the Spring!
